Sleep is like a dream
She gently grazes you
And leaves a scar
In the morning

I see you in the sunset
Your fingers
Trailing Off your
Auburn hair

She would kiss you
Comfort you
Leaving an overwhelming
Sense of serenity

While you held my hand
Close to your heart
Humming our
Favourite tunes

I could almost feel
Your warmth
Until Lady Sleep
Slipped away from me
