havent blog for ages..gt super addicted wif facebook games..till relatives started to complain me flooding their pages wif games..

nothing much happened lately..went to kl in april for mini gathering wif dylan n kimi..gg to meet up agnes in june..hoping i wont get broke in june..still waiting for apple to come n meet me..hmmm..wat else..uni gg to haf alumni AGM in 21st may..still nt sure wanna go o not..cos will b working on 22nd..

haven seen anyone for ages..cos haven been on any courses this year..jus went to my first talk of the year today..saw some old frens..will b seeing more old frens on mon n tues cos will b gg for ebm talk..hope it's nt too boring..

nt sure if anyone is still reading this blog..i noe apple checks this place once in awhile..but nt sure if she still does..issit jus me o everyone is having this prob?when i open this blog i jus found out all my pictures are all gone..

most reference said to gif infusion over 30 mins..BNF says may gif slow iv administration over at least 2-4 minutes..

wat if it was given as a bolus injection?wat will happen?can't find anything on the net..sigh........

Jus a Thought...

You were on your way out of the ward after your rounds..jus then, a figure caught ur eye..he was sitting cross-legged with his back hunched forward..you walk towards him and realised he was one of your patient who was discharged a few days ago..you exchanged a few words with him and his daughter..he looked breathless but other than that, he was fine..assuring him and his daughter that he will be fine, you headed home for the weekend..

when you were doing your rounds on the following week, another man was in the patient's place instead..browsing through the registry, you realised his name was no longer in it..thinking he might have been discharged during the weekend, you continued the rounds..as you were exiting the ward, you heard one of the staff nurse talked about that patient..you stopped by and asked her about it..

it seems that the patient passed away earlier on Sunday..he was actually doing quite fine one Saturday and Sunday morning..he was able to walk around the ward and talk for hours without the help of oxygen mask..the doctors and staff nurses were sure that he could be discharged soon..on Sunday night, he was suddenly breathless again..the medical team tried their best..he passed away soon after his attack..

prior to his attack, he was chatting to this staff nurse..he told her that he has lost all strength and hope to live on..it saddens him each time he was warded as he sees his family members took turns to take care of him..he feels like a burden to his family..minutes after this chat, he had the fatal attack..

you were sadden by this news..just moments ago you rejoiced thinking he got better and was discharged..it seems as though it was only yesterday you saw him the first time in the ward..it seems as though it was only yesterday you taught him the correct technique of using his inhalers..it seems as though it was only yesterday you stopped by his bed to chat to him and his family members..and now he is gone..

at least throughout his stay here his family members took turn to take care of him..they took turns to visit him..the other patient at the neighbouring ward wasn't so lucky..she was one of the regulars in this hospital..and each admission would take weeks, even months..never once have you seen her family members..she was abandoned by her family to a nursing home in the area..each time it was the nursing home who admitted her..and now, the nursing home is abandoning her in the hospital..it seems that her family has stopped paying the nursing home..

Life is short..treasure those around you..

Going Insane..

sigh..things have not been going well for me..first, my car was covered wif cow's blood..then a patient's kns attitude spoilt my mood..n i received numerous complaints bout my place..sigh..i onli been away for a week..wat the hell happen during tat one week..

damn..super miss HSA now..tat one week was like heaven..although i leave at 5.30 (sometimes later) i dun feel as shitty as i feel now..

n today i was told to buy rubbish bin for the clinic..those idiots realli think i spent 3.5yrs of studying jus to buy a rubbish bin for the clinic..damn..there's no way i m going to buy it..kns..i haf enough going on ad..

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

can someone tell me when has it been a pharmacist job to buy rubbish bin..KNS..i dun even buy my house's rubbish bin..

Accident..

sigh..had this accident today..kinda similar to the one tat kimi had..which she told me when i was in muar tat time..

was driving back home..happily..finally finishes my work for the day..was passing one of the many traffic lights back home..there's this super long lorry in the next lane..jus as my car is at its "head" (no idea wat it's call la..ask me bout human anatomy i might noe..car anatomy..sigh..i used to call side mirrors as the car's ears..so u get wat i mean la..), the stupid lorry started giving signal tat it wanna come into my lane..sensing sth wrong, i started horning him..think the driver is super deaf ba..cos he went ahead n yeah..smack my car..then i started horning louder n longer..he did not stop until i decided to press the horn like there's no tmr..then onli the deaf driver heard me..n started sticking his head out of the window doing animated things..i think he's scolding me o sth..like i care..u drive into ppl's lane w/o prior notice..unless less than 3 secs of signal can consider as prior notice..plus..i m ad at his vehicle head..where do u expect me to go??up the divider??idiot..n i tot i was sucky in driving..

he then started giving hand signals to ask me reverse..walao..my car is almost below his lorry lor..reverse n knock into one of his huge tyres ar??n if i reverse i will knock into those box looking things under his vehicle (again, no idea wat the hell it is)..then his colleague came n ask me to reverse..i keep pointing to the stuff tat i gg to knock if i were to reverse..then the driver start to get more animated..the other guy kept asking me to reverse..using hand signal, i ask tat guy to come over..u so keng u come reverse la..n he jus stood there asking me to reverse..so i did wat i can do lo...take my phone n call the police..well, din call the police la..jus wanna threaten them onli..wakakaka..in holiday mood ad..jus wanna get home asap..wif minimum damage to my poor car..

when the guy saw i took my phone attempting to call, onli he approach me..n yeah, i dunno wat got over me, i lower my window..super big mistake, cos now i realise how dangerous it was..wakakaka..luckily nothing bad happen..n got my car out wif minimum damage..another super big mistake is tat i forgot to take down the lorry's plate number..man..but wif me being almost under the truck i cant see anything but tyres..n tiny boxes under the truck..

think the stupid driver tried to come into my lane cos his lane is super slow..walao..for God's sake..heavy vehicles shud stick in left lane la..if u wanna come to right lane pls see if there's any mini car next to ur vehicle o not..stupid..kekeke..i v bad oso la..cos took half day off..so actually got nothing better to do..so after the accident happen i keep stalling the driver's time..wakakaka..who ask u so kan cheong ar..sigh..mus rmr to take down car plate number ad..

so advice to ppl, if u so unlucky n had an accident, rmr to jot down the other ppl's car plate number..call the police o someone who can help u la..nv wind down ur windows (like me)..cos it can b super dangerous..

sigh..so my poor car suffered some scratches..lights still working, engine still working..side mirror was scratch..luckily the glass din broke..erm, not sure got anymore damage la..need to check in detail tmr onli will noe..need to wash car too..too dirty to noe if it's jus plain dirt or anything worst..

so bai nee nee..wait till i repair my car ar..then onli i take pic let u see..wakakaka..u come back see urself la..i malas to take pic :p
